Yes, winning your region feels kinda pointless at the moment. Especially when your region has a hard time winning the national competition. Extra suggestions or the like would help.

The app needs to contact the server to notify it that you have taken the zone. It's not yours until the server knows. Therefore, you'll need a data plan or have access to a WiFi-network in the area where you capture zones. The message "capturing zone, please hold" appears between the time ...

Welcome to Turf! Very well written post, a lot of these look like really good potential zones. I hope that they get approved :) If you add screenshots from google maps with suggestions for zone borders, you'll make it even easier for the zonemakers to add them. Good luck! Are the norwegian posters on the way? I know a couple of zones that would give excellent exposure to Turf with a nice poster.
It could also spark some growth in Bergen and Oslo as well, if some were put in some heavily trafficked zones.
