New zones for Preston

Please can we have some more zones to W and S of Sheratonfield
Also some zones make a very linear run with no obvious loop back
I have reported 10 bad zones that are not possible elsewhere

Now you have 7 new zones to the West.

To the South I need suggestions, because many places seem to have fences around them. You can suggest in this thread or in the app. If you found a interesting or beautiful place it´s a big chance that it could be a zone there.

Some suggestions for the west of our city ( i tried to attach pictures but failed)
I have used Northings/westings and hope this helps.
There are now three of us doing Turf in this part of town

You are welcome to make more suggestions. A zone should be at least 20x20 meters, preferably 25x25 meters. It should preferably not be on someone's private plot with any part of the zone (but small exceptions can be made). It should not be located on a road, parking lot or other place where there is a high risk of enticing players to stop their car to take a zone. It is OK with a single zone that can be taken without getting out of the car, but not in any place where you stop the traffic if you stop. A good place can be in an interesting or beautiful place.

The zone should preferably be on a pedestrian / bicycle path, square or similar places where the surface is not damaged if many people start playing Turf. In the beginning, all zones in Sweden were ON only the lawn, but when we started to see marks after everyone who cycled to take the zone, we changed and now try to lay them so the surface is not damaged.

The more players who play, the more zones there will be. Right now there are quite a few zones in and around Preston but there are also completely empty areas and there we are happy to get many suggestions.

The advantage of suggestions in the app is that they remain in our system, but you only have 3 suggestions per game round, so now that we make many zones in the UK, it is possible to put many suggestions here in the forum (and preferably also their 3 in the app).

I will look for areas with gaps of no zones and try to suggest some for those places too

any hope of some more of those on the last list I did for Preston we now have a bigger number turfing here and they want nice suburban/ park sort of areas like the ones I have listed. We are still in lockdown and so should be staying fairly local. We also have an interclub challenge with another orienteering club starting next round and these would help us. Thank you

Thank you for the 15 new zones in Preston, brilliant and really appreciate all your hard work.
I think they are from a combination of people requesting.
We do have some zones where the grass is getting damaged and the nearest houses are upset- can we move them so the centre of the zone is on the footway- DodneyGreen, Gilhouse, Turf Maze.
