Problem.... :(
When I jump from Turf to Google Maps it appears that Turf looses GPS connection. Maybe apps can't share the GPS..?

So I cannot navigate with Google Maps with Turf in the background... ...though I hope I'm mistaken somehow...

Shouldn't be a problem.

Is certainly a huge problem, but has, for me, nothing to do with a specific app. All kind of apps at the same time can cause turf to crash and restart (or whatever is happening...)
I've used Funbeat's app (exercise app) to record a run, and it worked without any problems, but I was very careful, not having turf in background for many seconds...
Taking photographs and upload them to imgur is like 50-50 chance to keep turf alive...

Very sad, but hopefully fixed some day...

Turf doesn't crash on my phone, but the GPS turns itself off... so nothing happens if I enter zones.

I will need to test some further with Turf and Google Maps side by side.

One interesting quote from the official Google blog: http://googleblog.blogspot.se/2012/06/n ... t-map.html
People have been asking for the ability to use our maps offline on their mobile phones. So today we’re announcing that offline Google Maps for Android are coming in the next few weeks. Users will be able to take maps offline from more than 100 countries. This means that the next time you are on the subway, or don’t have a data connection, you can still use our maps.
I would be really nice if this also applies to apps like Turf... :)

AFAIK it doesn't. It's only a feature available to the official Google Maps app not third party apps using the API.
