Re: Turf in England: How will you contribute?
If you put some zones in downtown Leeds (close to train station), then a bunch of the danish turfers will turf there around 1st of July
Re: Turf in England: How will you contribute?
I feel some more information would be needed to send in a credible game/app tip to a news site. For example, how many zones are planned for launch day, and in how many cities? Is the whole UK getting to play or just England?Drassen wrote:...

Re: Sv: Turf in England: How will you contribute?
In general, every city in UK with a population of 100k or more will have zones. That's about 75 cities. The amount of zones will be approximately 6-8000 on the launch day.Marrrs wrote:I feel some more information would be needed to send in a credible game/app tip to a news site. This time we have a golden opportunity though, since the native language is english! And the season is summer! And android has grown stronger than ever!

We like to gather the power of the whole Turf community to try and make it work when we launch in Great Britain!
Anyone can state in this thread what they will do to contribute.
EXAMPLES:
- I will contact http://androidbloke.co.uk/ in different ways(mail, facebook, twitter, etc.) and try to get an article about turf.
- Simpan, Gutelappen and I will start a thread at androidsupportforum.co.uk and try to keep it as active as possible for 14 days in order to create interest and wake feelings.
- I will contact all the media in the specific town of yorkshire with a nice mail to try to get an article in at least one local newspaper.
- I will go to London and hand out 50 ads to people with android phones.
- Bombina and i will force 5 friends each to try turf and try to get them to like the game.
