Myself and a couple of friends have noticed a problem when using headphones and listening to music whilst turfing.
If no music is playing then all is well, I can hear the "taking zone, leaving zone, zone taken" notifications just fine.
If music is playing (tried: spotify, htc music player, tunein radio), rather than hearing the notifications, the music will cut out for the duration of the notification but the notification is not actually heard. (basically, the music goes silent for a couple of seconds). SOMETIMES, it will work correctly with TuneIn radio but I have not been able to identify any pattern for when this happens.
For me, when listening to music there is no sound however with a friend, his phone makes the notification out of the phone's speaker (music goes silent in the headphones)
Turfing whilst using headphones
Re: Turfing whilst using headphones
This topic has been up for discussion before, and I think the problem is that the sound source is different and has separate priority.
There is a thread in swedish somewhere in this forum.

is it something which can/will be fixed? I wouldn't have a clue how to find the relevant thread in the Swedish section, Google translate can only help so much.
Re: Turfing whilst using headphones
The problem was that if we used the music-channel for turf sounds, some phones would make the turf sound really low or way too high.
By using the notification-sound channel every user can set their own mix. However, you need to set the turf-volume before you start playing your music. otherwise only the music volume will be changed.
(process might differ on different phones.)
