No, I haven't taken any zone that many times but I'm sure I will with time.
This is one of the most suggested medals over the years, i think already from 2013 people asked for this, so far nothing i guess it will never come which is shame because everyone has x amount of takes on a zone somewhere.... this is why istopped play more or less there is no more medals to hunt for me i play ingress for now instead.

i dont know really, not sure if u noticed the lack of developer response here is zero only zone makers and normal users. Many medal suggestions over the years but zero feedback on them so we dont know what they plan do next...

Honestly it isn't that exciting of a medal. The overlap with the regular take medals feels too great to be interesting.

Medals i think is what most people actually want, thats the whole fun for those that dont play to be on top etc to hunt for new medals otherwise why even play at all ?
for me this game is dead at the moment nothing exciting until new medals if not i might aswell terminate my account for good..
